DALLAS SNIPERS (7-34-5, 19 pts)

Things are getting murky at the top of the Mid-West Division, but the picture in the bottom half of the standings is pretty clear. Dallas, on a bye this week, has little chance earning the fifth spot in the playoffs with only six games remaining.

The Snipers may not find out their playoff opponent until after the final game with a three-way battle for the division title between Oklahoma City, Springfield, and El Paso.

The top two finishers will get a first-round bye, while Dallas will likely visit the third seed for a best-of-three division quarterfinal series.

Either way, the Snipers didn’t fare very well against any of those teams, going a combined 0-0-0 against them and earning their only three points against Springfield.
