Wichita Jr. Thunder came back from a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. Wichita Jr. Thunder trailed 5-2 after a goal by Dallas Snipers' Justin Becton at 1:26 in the third period. Wichita Jr. Thunder knotted things up at 5-5 on a power play goal by Janac at 13:59 in the third period.
Wichita Jr. Thunder forced Dallas Snipers goalie Renauld Gaboury to work between the pipes, taking 47 shots.
Wichita Jr. Thunder also got points from Alex Smith, who also registered one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Wichita Jr. Thunder also had goals scored by John Pierce and Joel Johnson, who scored one goal each.
