Dallas Snipers overtake the fourth spot in the Midwest-Mountain Division having won two of three road games against the Oklahoma City Blazers. Oklahoma City can't seem to shake off the late-season slump losing 10 out of its previous 12, since Showcase.

The Snipers are looking quite accurate as they continue to shoot for higher seeding. They are still within six points of third place and can potentially steal the three spot depending on how Pueblo deals with the Eagles over the next six games.

Alexander Aleshkin secured two wins reaching 15 in the season, as he made 29 saves on Friday and 32 on Sunday. Joel Svensson stopped 42 on Saturday to give OKC its only win of the weekend.

Dallas didn't take it easy opening the weekend series with a 4-0 lead at Arctic Edge Ice Arena, effectively stunning the home side. Leo Selitaj had a goal and an assist in each of the Snipers' win while Alexander Heiskanen and Dominik Hajas scored the only two on Saturday.

Oklahoma City was forced to erase a 1-0 Dallas lead on Saturday, doing so with five straight tallies to deny the sweep.
