Weekend Preview: Nov 9 - Nov 10

Two-game series in Grapevine, Texas

The top two teams in the Midwest Division go at it in Dallas and neither team will have to travel much at all.

The division-leading Ice Jets are still perfect and continue to look like a well-oiled machine and this weekend, they’ll welcome in their neighbors, both geographically and in the standings, as the Snipers are currently second in the division.

The high-flying Jets currently have five players over 20 points and although their schedule has been light, they’ve been convincing in every victory.

Just a few weeks back, they played a home-and-home with the Snipers and after a close first game, the Ice Jets regrouped a won game two handedly.

Paul Taylor has his boys looking good and it will be interesting to see if they can keep their compete level up, as they’ve been blowing teams out.

They’re elite in every area, including special teams and are only getting better. A quick series with the Snipers is no longer a pushover however and should provide a decent challenge.

The Snipers are the surprise of the entire league and already have two more wins that they finished with all of last season.

They’ve been led offensively by a few newcomers, inJJ Pitchley and Trey McMillen and have received solid goaltending from Alex Bebriss-Fedotovs.

They had last weekend off to prepare for this series and they only have to travel a handful of miles, so they should be ready to go on Friday night.

Can the Snipers pick off the Ice Jets and win the battle of Dallas, or will the Paul Taylor’s crew stay perfect?
