Vegas Preview

The Snipers will be heading out to Las Vegas, Nevada for the 16th Annual – Western States Shootout. The Snipers head into Vegas with a record of 2-22-3 and play some tough competition in Las Vegas. This season the Snipers will face the Utah Outliners, Butte Cobras, Seattle Totems, and Fresno Monsters. The Mid-West Division has had the best overall record against the other 3 divisions the past two seasons.

Head Coach Aaron Davis is not pleased with where his club is sitting in the standings and has already brought in a new forward. The team has added Forward, Imanol Lasuen from Donostia, Spain. He will be making his junior debut in Las Vegas with the club. Look for Davis to bring in a few new faces after the Christmas break.

The snipers have struggled to score goals this season. The team has only scored four goals or more, four times this season with a record of 2-1-1. The goaltending trio of Moustakis, Weiss, and Stewart have all played extremely well to this point. There numbers may not back that, but their play has been noticed by the coaching staff.
