Tulsa Jr. Oilers completes comeback, beats Dallas Snipers, 5-4
Tulsa Jr. Oilers climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Dallas Snipers, 5-4.
Tulsa Jr. Oilers let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Tulsa Jr. Oilers took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Ivan Bukshevannyy at 10:59 in the first period. Tulsa Jr. Oilers found itself down 4-2 after Dallas Snipers' Carl Sandsten put the puck home at 1:17 in the third period. After tying things up at 4-4 on a goal by Andrew Wyrrick at 10:29 in the third, Tulsa Jr. Oilers got the game-winner from Bukshevannyy at 18:06 in the third period.
Bukshevannyy had two goals to lead Tulsa Jr. Oilers to victory.
Tulsa Jr. Oilers also got points from Wyrrick, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Sam Mancini, who also registered one goal and one assist. Maksim Chegrintcev also scored for Tulsa Jr. Oilers. Other players who recorded assists for Tulsa Jr. Oilers were Casey Neel and Sam Hiserodt, who each chipped in one.
