Snipers Wait For Playoff Opponent

DALLAS SNIPERS (10-37-5, 25 pts)

The Dallas Snipers ended their regular season on a high note by earning their first series sweep of the season against Tulsa.

Michael Tugo had seven points (3-4-7) over the weekend, and Alex Yunanov led the first game with a hat trick and a helper.

Defenseman Daniel Nordlander potted the game-winner less than a minute into overtime of the second game.

Maybe Dallas is getting hot now with guys like Yunanov, Tugo, Peter Kutlak and Jaroslav Vasicik spearheading the offense.

Dallas opens the WSHL playoffs against Springfield in Round One. Hot or not, the Snipers were ice cold against the Express this season, going 1-7-1 while being out-scored  30 – 63 in nine games.

Dallas has been gritty all season and with a clean slate heading into the postseason, expect them to make their opponents earn it.

Congrats to Yunanov who ends the season as the franchise’s all-time leader in games played (183), goals (66), assists (98), and points (164).

Teammate Peter Kutlak is right behind him with 147 career points for the franchise.
