Snipers Resign Vet Price Dworin
The Dallas Snipers of the Western States Hockey League are excited to announce the resigning Price Dworin. The 2-way center ice man did well last season for Davis. Dworin produced 3 goals and 6 assists for 9 points, in 52 contests during the 2015 – 2016 season. Dworin is looking to move up the depth chart like he has in each of the past 2 seasons. Price becomes the 5th player to sign for the upcoming season and the 3rd Sniper to return from last season’s squad.
We asked Price why he decided to return to the club for his 3rd season. “I see a lot of potential in my teammates that are returning. I also really enjoy playing for my coaching staff and our strength and conditioning staff is top notch as well. This is a great place to develop and grow as a player. I love playing here,” stated Dworin.
In his second season with the team, Dworin became a reliable 2-way center and was put up against the best Centers in the Mid-West Division. “Price proved to be a good shut down Center, who is also a great faceoff guy. Expectations for Price are high this season and I know he won’t have any issues with handling it,” stated Coach Jaskiewicz
Dworin will join his teammates at camp on September 6, 2016 at the Plano Dr. Pepper Star Center. The team hits the road on September 30,2016 for their season opener in Colorado.
