Sepeda Signs
Dallas, Texas - The Dallas Snipers of the Western States Tier II Hockey League are proud to announce the signing of veteran forward Nate Sepeda. The Keller native is set to begin his final year of eligibility as he looks to make a splash into college hockey next year. He returns home to Texas after spending last season in Canada.
Last season Sepeda played in the North Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) for the Elliot Lake Wildcats. In 41 games played, Sepeda scored 8 goals and had 14 assists. He had 22 penalty minutes to go along with his 22 points. The right handed forward was also an alternate Captain for his team last year. “I am really excited to be here and I can’t wait to play Friday against the Express,” Sepeda stated.
Sepeda played with the Texas Tornado now HC Dallas U18 program two seasons ago. Nate becomes the third former HC Dallas player to play for the Snipers this season. Zach Black and Sterling Cooper are the other two players. Coach Aaron Davis had this to say about his new forward. “Nate has been an Alternate Captain these past two seasons and leads by example. He is a very smart forward, with a great shoot. I think he will be a great addition to our team.”
The Snipers play the Springfield Express in a 3 game series this weekend in Plano.
