Mid-West Players To Watch

El Paso Rhinos – Adam Stalzer

Stalzer entered the 2018 slate of games with 22 points on the season, but nine-point run in six games has put Stalzer in seventh for the Rhinos in scoring. A two-point game against Oklahoma City highlights the second-half of the season, so far. With the high-powered class of 1998 players that El Paso currently possesses, Stalzer will be a big addition with Chaseton Sare and JC Dubecky heading into 2018.

Oklahoma City Blazers – Ivan Bondarenko

Bondarenko is heading into 2018 with a mission, to catch Kirill Romanov in the franchise’s all-time goals, assists, and points records. Following the series against El Paso, Bondarenko sits just 19 goals, 17 assists, and 36 points away from the franchise records. Should Bondarenko hit the points mark, he’ll also overtake Tomas Nemeth’s record of most points in a single season.

Springfield Express – Bruno Ndossi

Bruno Ndossi had an eleven-game points streak broken in Springfield’s weekend series against Dallas, which totaled seven goals and nine assists. With five goals and two assists against OKC in December, the Express will be looking towards Ndossi as they look ahead to seven-straight games against OKC.

Dallas Snipers – Sterling Cooper

Cooper has come on strong out of the Christmas Break, putting up two goals and four assists against the Springfield Express, so far, this year. The Snipers have been loading up for a late-season run at third-place in the Midwest Division, and continue to grow behind veterans such as Cooper, who has a career-best 42 points this season.

Wichita Jr. Thunder – Hunter Litman

Since joining Wichita just before the Western States Shootout, Litman has provided a spark to the young Thunder team. In 11 games, Litman has scored two goals and three assists as the Wichita team continues to grow.
