Mid-West Division Preview vs. Blazers

The Dallas Snipers were in a freefall during the month of February and looked to be on the way to their 13th straight loss before pulling out a timely 5-4 triumph in the finale of their series against Wichita.

Even with just one week remaining in the regular season, the majority of the playoff seeding in the Midwest Division has yet to be decided. Dallas could potentially play any divisional opponent besides Oklahoma City or Tulsa in the first round.

The competition in the division is so even that it may not matter who the Snipers first-round opponent is, since the series will likely be hard-fought no matter what.

It is crucial that the Snipers tighten up defensively if they hope to find any success in the postseason. They are giving up an average of just under five goals per game, though that number was greatly influenced by their recent stretch of poor play.

This weekend, Dallas closes out its regular season with a three-game set against the host Oklahoma City Blazers – a team the Snipers have not defeated in six tries.
