DALLAS SNIPERS (16-18-0-3)

Dallas took two of three games against Tulsa to move into a fourth-place tie with the Jr. Oilers. The Snipers were solid defensively during the first two games in the series but allowed nine goals in the final contest, a 9-7 loss.

Michael Tugo (21-27-48), who has led the Snipers in scoring for the vast majority of the season, had his best game of the year last week against Tulsa. He scored two of Dallas’ seven goals and assisted on four others. Tugo has a point in seven of his last eight games.

Dallas’ remaining schedule is difficult, to say the least. They play six more games in Oklahoma City and have three-game series against Wichita, Springfield, and El Paso. All of those teams except El Paso are currently ahead of the Snipers in the Midwest Division standings.

The Snipers’ offense has been performing well lately. They have tallied 13 goals in their past two games, which is their best two-game output since piling up 14 October 3-4.

Dallas faces a three-game series this weekend against Springfield.
