Ljubobratets lifts Dallas Snipers over Colorado Eagles, 4-0

Dallas Snipers relied on the scoring touch of Konstantin Ljubobratets, who netted two goals, to beat Colorado Eagles, 4-0. 

Ljubobratets' tallies came on the power play at 15:43 into the first period  to make the score  1-0 Dallas Snipers and 18:53 into the second to make the score 2-0 Dallas Snipers. 

Emil Eriksson spearheaded the defensive effort for Dallas Snipers, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 27 saves for the shutout. Eriksson managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 4.46 prior to the game. 

Dallas Snipers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Colorado Eagles to score on any of its seven power plays. 

Dallas Snipers also had goals scored by Luke Grignano and Shane Bonds, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Dallas Snipers were Justin Becton, who had one and Aaron Krominga and Emil Melin, who each chipped in two. 

The Colorado Eagles penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled nine minors and one major for 33 minutes in penalty time. Colorado Eagles surpassed its season average of 26.0 penalty minutes per game. Colorado Eagles did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Colorado Eagles puts an average of 4.3 pucks into the net per game. 

Dallas Snipers totaled 21 minutes in penalty time with eight minors and one major and went 1-for-8 on the power play. Quinn Wold made 24 saves for Colorado Eagles on 27 shots.
