Dallas Snipers survives Dallas Ice Jets comeback, wins 4-3
Dallas Ice Jets tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Dallas Snipers held on for a 4-3 victory.
Dallas Snipers made the score 4-1 on a goal by Alexander Yunonov at 12:49 in the second period, and Dallas Ice Jets got as close as 4-3 when Chris Schutz scored 7:25 into the third period.
In a losing effort, Dallas Ice Jets was led by Schutz, who racked up two goals. Schutz scored the first of his two goals at 3:44 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Dallas Snipers. Nick Felan provided the assist. Schutz's next tally made the score Dallas Snipers with 12:35 left in the third period. Ondrej Valo assisted on the tally.
Dallas Snipers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Dallas Ice Jets power plays.
