Dallas Snipers squeaks by Texas, 5-4

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Dallas Snipers escaped with a 5-4 victory over Texas. 

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Emil Melin at 17:22 of the third period. 

Christopher Stein had a great game for Dallas Snipers, netting two goals. Stein scored at 13:24 into the second period to make the score 3-3 and again while 17:30 into the second to make the score 4-4. 

Dallas Snipers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Texas power plays. 

Dallas Snipers additionally got points from Melin, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Dallas Snipers also had goals scored by Konstantin Ljubobratets and Luke Grignano, who each put in one. In addition, Dallas Snipers received assists from Alexander Lehnbom, who had two and Tyler Tews, Aaron Krominga, and Shane Bonds, who contributed one a piece. 

Dallas Snipers was unable to stop Texas from sending pucks towards the net, and Texas eventually piled up 58 shots on goal.

Texas was helped by Chris Stovall, who registered one goal. Stovall scored 9:53 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Texas. Austin Murray assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Texas included Anatoly Uspenyev, Dalton Foster, and Miguel Caron, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Texas were Landyn Howze and Sebastien Tremblay, who each chipped in one. 

Emil Eriksson rejected 54 shots on goal for Dallas Snipers. Dallas Snipers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Ryan Mulka recorded 25 saves for Texas. Texas incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
